Hi,
I just purchased your asset with the hope I would be able to identically reproduce the Standard Shader (metal and smooth version). I saw your tutorials and they were really welcome. Is it possible to do that? I tried with Shader Forge and I wasn`t able to make the shader to behave identically. The same settings and the same look in the same lighting conditions. I Would be really grateful for any help I can get. Cheers!

We apologize for the fact that it was not as obvious as we would like.
We will think about how to improve the quality of documentation and tutorials.

All PBR (PBS) modes in “uSE” are based on Standard shader algorithms.
Please pay attention to the 7th page of the documentation (English version).
Using this modes you just need to bind your nodes to required outputs.
Using PBR Metallic you can send your nodes’s calculations to Metallic & Smoothness outputs.

so 2 of the 4 doloro products i’ve purchased from the asset store have been deprecated in the past year (he water and ssrr pro.) doesn’t really inspire much confidence to continue supporting doloro with these multiple abandoned products. i already have ushader pro and recolor pro, but i’m not sure if i should bother depending on these for future projects with this unstable, fickle developer behavior. what is up with the multiple deprecated assets?

while a big discount on your software is welcome, this smacks of sales desperation…

oh and your “Complete shader bundle” is also falsely advertised/bloated in price, it lists both of the above-mentioned deprecated products in the bundle. shame on you.

SSRR Pro supported more than 1.5 year. During last long time it was not profitable. But our team works on new algorithm of SSR and all who bought SSRR PRO before will get a very big discount to update to the new product after release.

uShader Engine PRO is our main project. On this moment it already have a lot of unique feature than don’t have any of our directly competitor.
And this product getting a regular big updates almost every month.
So it’s definitly only your choise, but we do our best with developing of uSE PRO.

good, this is nice to hear. thank you for addressing this. how about h.e. water, same response, or is that end-of-lifed?

i understand that ushader pro is your flagship item so that will get priority, and indeed it is nice to see the regular updates on that.

At the moment I don’t have any info about new generation of water’s shader.
I can only note that the current policy of our company based on rule that all our products must be better than the other top products in the store.
So if our team will create a so good shader, then we ofcourse release it immediately.
Sure we have a policy than all old assets of the same type will have a discount for upgrade to new generation of product.

HE Water was a one of our first released shader in this store and has a long support time. On this moment this product still available to download and have a good quality.

We think that all will be more happy if our team will make efforts to develop a more global projects. We are sure you much more interesting to have multiple licenses of the best products than a dozen mediocre.

As example uShader Engine.
It combines dozens of products at a price much lower than on markets.
Actually, even just an ability for work with terrain’s shader is usually sold at a price not less than uShader Engine.
A good shader for tesselation cost around 30$.
Multiple-pass shading almost not have a represents in Asset Store.
This package include a list of FREE examples that other companies sold as separate assets.

So we think that you not fully right when you talk about us like about untrusted publisher.
All our product have support many more than one year. We don’t discard any assets from packs. We not set a fake price or fake sale events. We not use a fake comments like a lot of publisher.
We all time invest to increasing quality of product, documentation, demos, samples.

Does you sure that we really so bad as you told before?

i appreciate the explanation, and your philosophy makes sense. i’ve had very few purchased assets become deprecated thus far, and there was a perception of a pattern of abandonment when i had more than one of your assets become deprecated in a short amount of time, while you are advertising a sale on another asset. i think you can see why a customer would become concerned. looking forward to your continued diligence with your remaining assets.
