Up to date documentation on Iron Source and Unity Ads?

So I have an app that is already using the Advertisement Legacy package. I am trying to do ad mediation now and running into a lot of issues with documentation. Everything I’m finding seems so out of date and contradictory.

So, if I’m already using Unity Ads and I now want to mediate with AppLovin do I need to remove the Advertisement Legacy package and install the Ads Mediation package? If so where is the up to date documentation on how to do this? The old system from the out of date documentation seemed so straight forward and this new system is extremely confusing…

@The702Guy

If you are using a third-party mediation, then you would want to uninstall any Unity Advertisement packages from Unity ,including the Advertisement Legacy and Ads Mediation package.

Once you install the SDK for the mediation provider you’re using (AppLovin in this case), their package will have a way to install adapters for each ad network you want to include, and that’s where you can add the Unity Ads and ironSource ad networks.

Alternatively, if you did want to use LevelPlay mediation instead of AppLovin, you can uninstall the Advertisements Legacy package and just use the Ads Mediation package. From there, you can install the Unity Ads and ironSource ad network adapters.

I am using level play for mediation. So I currently have Ad Mediation installed and in the configuration I activated Unity Ads and AppLovin. What I’m having trouble doing is converting my code in my ad manager to work with Level Play instead of the Unity Ads package. I’m trying to find good documentation on how to convert this stuff.

Ah, yeah, I don’t think we have any resources that speak directly to moving from Unity Ads to LevelPlay mediation.

This would be the documentation I would focus on.
Rewarded Video Integration for Unity (is.com)

It should be up to date, though it is a bit different from the legacy Unity Ads integration and I can see how it can be a bit confusing.
