I get these two errors in the log from Xcode, while the splash is still up:
warning: check_safe_call: could not restore current frame
warning: Unable to restore previously selected frame.
and it never finishes loading. Thread 0 says < ??? >.
This worked just fine in the last version of Xcode I used (the last public release).

Figured it out (finally). The option to enable “Script Debugging” in the Build Options menu will crash your game on the Unity Loading Screen.
Please submit a bug report.

Also, now it’s happening again, so maybe that isn’t it.

This is the second post I’ve seen on this. I’m glad I saw this before installing 4.2, which I was going to do tonight! iOS 5 SDK will have to wait…
