Updating Assets - stuck at 90%

Hi,
I had a crash when trying trying to re-import the Standard Assets. After an hour or two I binned and then reinstalled Unity - however it just sits idling with the Assets Progress bar open and about 90% complete - however it refuses to complete - and therefore I’m locked out of Unity ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The current application folder has nothing in it other than the default delivered assets etc.

Fixed.
After some succinct help from David at Otee it turns out that the Maya Personal Learning Edition and Unity don’t get on together - uninstalling and binning Maya fixed it.

That’s better.
