Updating unity

Hi, this is a total noob question, and hope it’s in the right place! I need to update unity to the new version, when I go to the update page, and select download installer, it takes me to the full down and install. Question is - do I really have to download and install ALL of Unity again?! or is there a way to update instead of a full download? Also, will all my projects still be there and work after the update?

Unity updates require a full install. Your projects will still be there (just don’t create them in the Program Files/Unity folder though!)

Ok thanks. I have a separate folder for my projects so should all be fine
