I just decided to redact my whole rant.

Can you please update this video so that it functions in 5 or 2017.1, or conversely, update 4.7 so that GUI tools and current version assets can be imported(shaders from purchased assets in particular)? (nearly all the assets I bought for my 4.7x project have been updated and can’t even be imported on a new build, project can’t upgraded,etc.)

Anyway, this is my mini project while I finish porting the prior project

It would be appreciated.

They are not going to release a new 4.x.x build. Even if they were to, they couldn’t update it to properly import/backport assets uploaded to the asset store using 5.x/2017.x.

It would be helpful though if tutorials were kept up to date.
