So, I’m considering purchasing the plus version so I get the two essential packs. From the FAQ it seems that I will have to purchase the assets again when they are updated??? Is this how it works or is it just some special deal with this offer?
What if I just buy an asset directly in the future - is it the same system meaning you have to buy it again and again for each update?
Significant updates to assets can be paid if the asset author wishes to do so and asset store approves. It’s not really related to essential packs, they just mention it to make sure you don’t expect ave a life time support for everything.

Once again though only if the asset author decides to charge an upgrade fee for a major version. If an upgrade fee is not assigned then you will receive the major versions of the asset.
