Upgrading Project: Opening File Failed

Here’s the error message I get when attempting to open my project in 2017.2b2:

Opening file /Users/daniel/Library/Unity/cache/packages/packages.unity.com/com.unity.ads@0.0.16/UnityEngine.Advertisements.dll.meta: Permission denied

And then it gives me 3 options (Force Quit, Cancel, Try Again). I haven’t had any luck with either of them.

Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Hi,

Does this bug show up only for a specific project or for all your projects? What platform do you use (Windows, macOS, linux)?

Normally, you should be able to go through the error messages by clicking on Cancel every time the dialog appears**.**
