Uploading Package via Application Loader fail

Application Loader error on loading package:
“The Info.plist indicates a Mac app, but submitting an ipa.”

I’ve read a few issues with the above but have yet to find a resolution.
The best people suggest is finding a copy of App Loader 3.0 and using that…which isn’t very productive. I have no idea where to even find it - I’ve scoured the net and iTunes Connect to no avail

So has anyone found a viable solution for the above???

dont use Application Loader 3.6 and high … give errors
try Application Loader 3.0

Has this ever been fixed. I’m still having to use 3.0 to upload mac apps

I use 3.7.2 without issues.
