Okay, I honestly don't even know if I'm posting this in the right spot. But every time I click on the "edit" box for writing javascript parallels starts up and runs notepad... In the tutorials I'm following this didn't happen. Help please?!

Your Mac is set to open Parallels > Notepad for filetypes that end in .js. You need to tell OSX that you want to use a different program to open .js files by default (Right-clicking on a .js file will let you change this).
