Urgent, well maybe not. But I got the Android and iOS Platforms for free, in the bargain that until april 8th the’re giving the licenses away free. I have a windows machine, and cannot therefore publish for iOS. Can I use the same license on a mac? Also, If I eventually sell enough games to afford console license, can I still keep the iOS and Android licenses in my license, but add the console license (Presuming that if I’ll be able to afford a console dev license, it will be in the next few million years :)?
If you have licensed a version of the Software other than a trial version and you are an individual or a Legal Entity other than an educational or academic institution, you may install the Software on both a primary computer and a secondary computer, solely for your convenience, but only for use by a single person.
As to the second question, I’m fairly sure that the console licenses require Unity Pro, and therefore won’t fly with the free Android/iOS versions.
You may want to contact Unity Technologies directly or check if these questions have already been answered on the forums, though.
Even though you do not own a mac, the licence still works for mac. The same licence works for both mac and PC.
As for the console licensing question, i dont see why you won’t be able to keep your old licenses. As far as i know (and from experience upgrading licenses/adding new licenses), it just adds a new one to your old ones. That being said, it will require pro and several thousands of dollars as well as getting permission from Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo etc for a license. Best contact Unity Tech for that enquiry.
