Hi,
I need some help or advice…
I started working with URP 2d lights on my 2d platformer game, and now I want to setup baked lightmaps. But I can’t find any option, or guide about it. There is no light mode on URP 2d lights, to set them baked.
Is this even possible? or I just went to the worng direction on setting up lights?
There’s no baking 2D Renderer lights.
First of all… WHY? Won’t even be? No workaround? Nothing?
…and than what? I should restart lights with… ? URP non-2d?
2D lights work in a different way, so baking is not important. Unless you’re having performance problems related to lights, don’t worry about it. If you can achieve what you want visually with 2D lights then use them. If not, then consider non-2D.
Not important… Who says it’s not important?
I have a lots of lights on my scene, and they are flickering becouse this cant handle more than… 8?
The whole problem would have gone with some of them baked…
Now, how should I change the whole thing back to non-2D?
…pipeline, materials, shadowcasters…
damn flickering… why even the urp tries to re-render everything in every frame…?
