URP Global volume in Additive Scenes

Hi,
I have a “Common Scene” with my player, cinemachine cameras, UI etc. All other scenes, I remove / load additively. So two scenes are loaded at any point of time. Do I have to add the Global volume to the common scene also?

The camera and global volume don’t need to be part of the same scene. I believe the global volume is more like a collider so as long as their layers in the collision matrix allow them to detect each other then it should work.

I have a global volume singleton that is present throughout all scenes and separate cameras for each scene. I assume the way Don’t Destroy on Load works is that any GameObject with that property gets put in a special additive scene that can’t be unloaded.
