Every time I create a urp material that is emissive, it always looks bad, I’ll be following tutorials and they’ll add an emissive material that looks so cool and I’ll do the same and it looks terrible:
This is a cube in my scene with a URP/Lit material with a red emission of 10:
It surely isn’t supposed to look like this, right? Am I doing something wrong?
Game view:
I’m following a tutorial in which the creator’s emissive particle looks like this:
Whereas mine with the same emission on my material looks like this:
I have a post processing applied to the layer my particle is on with a bloom of 2 and this still appears bad.
The screenshot I took is in the scene view and so is the one from the video, however it could be that the first one looks better because of post processing, which I cannot see in my scene view. I have the lighting effects in scene view option post processing checked, so I’m not sure why I couldn’t see it…
