In URP, I’m trying to shine a realtime shadowless Light onto a LineRenderer with a URP/Lit material. I’m having an issue where it appears the Light stops working on any part of the LineRenderer that gets too close to the Camera. This issue only is present on the LineRenderer. It does not appear on other renderers with the same Material being lit by the same Light.
In this clip there’s a red Light on the player. the line and the platform both share the same URP/Lit material. The platform (mesh renderer) is lit as expected. The LineRenderer however, is experience some kind of culling.
‘Generate Lighting Data’ is enabled for the LineRenderer.
I’ve been tweaking about everything on the LineRenderer, the Material, and the Light to see if anything has any effect but no luck, if anyone has any insight on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
