So uhh… urp shadows are just broken. Everything is now like 2 times smaller on the shadowmap regardless of resolution and shadows just look pixelated even with a 4k shadowmap. Is there any magic setting I’m supposed to find? And no, it’s not the soft shadows. Things are smaller on the shadowmap when they shouldn’t be.
Honestly, I don’t even expect a fix at this point, I just wanted to vent.
What is the shadow distance that you have set and the cascade placement?
Can you share an image of the shadow aliasing and shadow settings?
There are definitely issues with URP shadows, but we are actively working on improving the shadows signficantly in URP, and we are also here to help! We are also trying hard to simplify the shadow workflow, but raster shadows are inherently a hack, and require a lot of scene based manual tweaking.
