Using already existing humanoïd animations on Animation Rigging

Hi,

If I have a rigged Humanoïd character with dozens of animations for it, can I create a rig using Animation Rigging and have its (old) animations working on it?

This sounds like a stupid question, but I haven’t found any answer in the docs and online videos. I see a lot of benefits in using Animation Rigging, but if I can’t animate on 3DS Max Biped then I’ll pass.
