Using Assets for Course or YouTube

Hello all,

I have been doing some research on using assets and discovered that most assets bought on the asset store is fine to use in a published commercial game. However, one question that still eludes me is how does the legal issue stand with bought assets when you want to make a Unity course or YouTube channel that teaches aspects of Unity to viewers.

I understand I can make the game/software with the assets, but can I A) show how to create a game using the said assets in a course or YouTube video and B) allow viewers to download them to create the game/software themselves, as long as I put up a disclaimer that the assets are not to be reused in a commercial game unless purchased from the provider of the asset creator?

I hope that this question is clear enough. If not, please say and I’ll reword it.

Thank you

Yes.

Absolutely not. You can, however, provide the Asset Store URLs where they can go to buy them.
