Hey guys, I’d like to use some assets i downloaded in a game. Was just wondering two things
- do i HAVE to credit the asset make (legally, so far i’ve only downloaded free assets…). of course i will credit you if i think you really deserve it;)
2)if somehow i ever finish a game AND then by some miracle it makes money will i owe these people royalties.
If you’re talking purely assets which you have downloaded from the Asset Store, the license is available here :
From a quick read, it would appear the answers are no and no.
If you’re talking about assets acquired any other way - including assets which are also available on the Asset Store, then it’s not possible to answer without more information or talking to the person you acquired the assets from.
