Hey guys
I’ve been making a new 3d-platformer style game using Unity and Maya with a cartoony, cel-shaded feel, and I’ve created a model in maya for use in the game. It uses five materials, and all of these are standard maya toon shader materials except for one lambert shader I’ve been using for the outline. When I import my model into Unity, all of these materials import, but only the lambert colour comes out as anything but grey. On top of that, when I try and use the model, the material editor doesn’t show up. Is there anybody who can help me with this please? Importing the maya shaders would be preferable, but applying textures in Unity would be almost as good
Thank you
Harry
Hi
Thanks for the answer Yes, I have imported some shaders from maya into unity (blinn, phong, lambert etc.) but the maya toon shaders, or any other shader using a ramp, doesn’t seem to import natively. The outline I’d given my maya model doesn’t import either
And I’ve tried adding new shaders in place of my maya ones, but I can’t view the texture editing window in the moðel, and I can’t just drag a shader onto it, because then it fills all the material spaces, and my model uses 5.
