Using example assets commercially?

Can assets in the Unity examples be used in commercial projects? In my case I’m eying the bird sounds/behaviours/models from the terrain demo. Sure I could implement the same thing myself, but if I don’t have to I’d gladly save the time. The birds are definitely not crucial to gameplay either, more of a nice touch.

So, in general, what applies to example assets released by UT? Can they be used? If so, how should they be credited?

Any info would be much appreciated!

In Users->Shared->Unity->Island Demo
You can find the license for those assets. I belive it’s the same for other Unity assets, commercial is fine as long as you use Unity to make it.

Thanks, I should have looked closer. :slight_smile:
Anyway, according to the license, the assets are indeed free to use as long as it is in a Unity project.

Just giving you confirmation that this is indeed correct. Have fun!
