Using Failed Project for a Game

I was working on a game for a while, but then accepted that the idea sucked. Too much RNG and management to be enjoyable. However, it’s pretty useless as it is to me, since I never finished it, and wanted something that could make use of the effort I put into the project. So I was wondering if there were any good ideas people have that can make use of the code I developed.

I have a functional turn based combat system. The only thing it’s missing I can think of is units dying and non-placeholder images. You can target units depending on the type of skill, healing and buffing, speed determining turn order system, etc. Honestly, this is the main thing I care about keeping.
Leveling up system based off Fire Emblem, chance to increase a stat, and exceeding that guarantees 1 per an 100%.
Weapon ranks that are required for skills.
Character details for seeing their stats out of combat (Most likely would be changed up based on stats needed.)

Play it.
Correct it
Rinse repeat
Until is fun to play.
Give it to playtesters for the feedback.
Polish it.
Only you know what is in the project.
