Using the TAB key on IE 7 and 8 doesn't work.

I use the TAB key to bring up an in game HUD, and it doesn’t work at all in IE 7 or 8.

My client was mentioning that the TAB key wasn’t functioning on his machine. I thought he was crazy. When he told me that he was using IE as his browser, and that when tested in Chrome, it worked as expected, I was intrigued.

I fired up IE on my machine, and what do you know, the TAB key doesn’t work.

Is there a reason for this?

IE traps the tab key and doesn’t pass it on to Unity. We usually add a secondary key for IE users (like `).
