Using Tiktok ads, High CTR but not a a single Conversion

I need help, I have no clue on what’s going on, are the numbers fake or is my game the problem?

My game has been in the google play store for 5 days now and no downloads, so I used facebook and tiktok ads,

For tiktok ads, the numbers are insane compared to facebook,
here are my stats ($6.62 out of $20):

CPM: $0.028
Impressions: 236,589
Clicks: 8,440
CTR: 3.57%
Conversions: 0 ???

I’m not sure how clicks are counted in tiktok ads, but if it is by clicking the link… and I have not received a single conversion, either the numbers are fake/inflated or my game is just bad ;(

I also tried to check my traffic sources in Google Play and 100% is through google play (and all of those are mine).

200k is a lot, it doesn’t make any sense, even if your game is bad 200k to 0 is way too suspicious…

I wouldn’t be surprised to be honest. Depending on target audience, people in various regions are paid for watching ads. They are not your customers. They just leaching your funds. I have seen that behaviour in various occasions.

Maybe OP is unlucky, or something is not updating somwhere, and needs few days. I just guess here.

Tiktok is known to purposefully push newcomer creators more than later, to give them an incentive early success to motivate them to keep them long term without success.
Would not be surprised if their ads system isn’t truly safe and reliable either…

Seems like a repeat of the facebook analytics that killed a few company with buffed up stats.

Yeah…Like FB and Twittter. Thy certify their own clicks. This is just bots clicking IMO.

Same here bro, I’ve got 13k clicks and only 4 conversions. I suspect those clicks are motivated or whatever. I almost gave up with tiktok ads.

How interesting is your ad? How accurately does it represent the actual game?

People on tiktok are not there for game ads. They are there to do short stupid/vapid/ego-tripper videos and look for dopamine hits from icon counts rising. Formerly twitter and still with facebook you pay for eyeballs of bots which are worthless. Bots don’t buy games. US of A has banned tiktok in many govmnt agencies as CCCP spyware.

It is a waste of money.

Closing, almost all spam/bots posts.
