I’m working on UV mapping my models, but it doesn’t seem to be working like it does in the tutorials, is there a free program out there that will let me easily do it cause It’s almost impossible in blender. When I unwrap my model, it is almost impossible to find faces that go together because they don’t unwrap right or something, and end up all over the place. So is there any good software that will make it easy to UV map my models easily and effeciently? Thanks.
Actually it’s fairly easy and powerful in Blender. Probably just need to google some “blender uv unwrapping” tutorials.

I know, that’s what I did, and from what I read it was really easy, but all of the tutorials I read had to do with cubes, that unwrapped nicely and unfolded, unlike my 3d models. If there is a tutorial for UV mapping on a human like model or something, with lots of faces then I might be able to figure it out. The problem is, is that when I unwrap the model, in the UV image window, the faces all show up in seperate places, so just because two are close in the UV image window doesn’t mean that they are close to each other on the 3d model, and I really don’t want to figure them all out then drag them on the image to the correct position, and resize them and stuff.
Nevermind, I now know how to use the seams tool. Before I didn’t know what it did, but I finally understand it.
