UV Texturing Issue

For some reason the engine of a ship I modeled in Maya is not displaying my texture correctly when I import it into Unity via fbx. I’m sure there’s probably a really easy way to fix this but since I’m new to unity I’m not quite sure what to do. It almost seems as if the texture is displaying on the inside of the mesh instead of the outside making in transparent from the outside view.

Sorry, If theirs already a tread about this but I,ve been trying to figure this out for 4 days now.

So after several days of pulling my hair out I finally figured out what was wrong and was able to fix the issue. when I exported from maya and into unity I wasn’t taking into account that unity only textures one side of a face I’m assuming to save memory. So while it looked fine in maya unity was texturing the wrong side of the faces making them transparent from my view. To fix this I had to go back into maya and select the faces that were being affected and go to normals>reverse while in polygons mode. Hope this helps anyone else who may have the same issue because unfortunately it took me forever to figure out on my own.
