uzAI : Ultimate Zombie Artificial Intelligence

Hi,
My name is Hamzah and since the release of THE MOST amazing mobile game Dead Trigger 1 / 2 I am wondering how did they come up with this kinda amazing AI for their zombies (walk, run, crawl, jump, climb, attack, hear, search, react, etc) on Mobile Platform… :eyes::eyes:

So I did a LOT of research and figured it out how to make something similar (yay :)) and make it public ;):wink: so that everyone, everywhere, anytime can make anything they have ever thought of making with zombies without struggling too much!!

So guys, from a few weeks I have been working on this AI System which I named uzAI : Ultimate Zombie Artificial Intelligence.

It is working out pretty good and my plan is to develop uzAI in upcoming months and release it between Christmas and New Year :slight_smile:

Here’s a few short GIFs to show you my progress till now :

1. Before adding a humanoid model and working with the Off Mesh Links

2. After Adding Unity’s Robot Kyle and Unity’s Stealth Tut Animations

Since, I don’t have any jump / climb animations as of now I am not able to test the OffMesh Links for the Humanoid Character but as you can see in the 1st GIF the logic is pretty much ready :wink:

3.Waypoint Editing in the Editor

I will be making it more friendly but my first priority is to develop the core of the AI! :slight_smile:

Can you make AI like this

Were zombies can crawl through spaces and jjump over bardicades. Crawl when low on health.
You can get animations from mixamo
Also have option for zombies to always chase you even if you are not in LOS

This is exactly what I am making and believe me I have played this game for more then 3 years lol :stuck_out_tongue:

So basically the AI will be having dismemberment and when he gets shot in the legs he’ll start crawling and if he gets shot in the stomach he’ll be having a limp walk kinda thing… I have contacted my friend who is an animator and he’ll be taking care of all the animations! :wink:

  • The main behavior which I am working on is jumping, climbing barriers. Based on the height the AI will detect which animation he should play to cross the thing.

  • Also there will be option if you want the AI to chase player even if he’s in next room (exactly like dead trigger ;)) or to move between waypoints and detect player on LOS! :slight_smile:

Hopefully in a week or 2, I will be able to show you guys the power you are about to get in your hand with this AI system :sunglasses::sunglasses:

Hi guys sorry it took me tooo long to post an update :confused:
This AI is getting on my nerves lol :stuck_out_tongue:
