I’m getting this error message on every startup in 1.5.0.
I don’t really know why this happened - I tested collab way back in 2017, so there’s been two projects hanging around there since then. I went in and archived those, but the error is still showing up.
If I don’t have any cloud projects, maybe the Hub shouldn’t whine that it can’t load them?
same error message with 1.5.0 on two different systems under two completely separate accounts (work pro and home personal). never used any ‘cloud projects’ on either
It’s more an oversight than a bug; the devs probably do not think that people do not have projects on the cloud. I already mentioned this this morning alongside two other things: https://discussions.unity.com/t/731948 .
Yeah, same issue here. I have no cloud projects but it throws an error saying it failed to load them. Is this really an error if you think about it though? It failed to load cloud projects because I don’t have any, haha. Hope they get it fixed soon.
I’m facing the same problem, not archived. I got one project, set up with collab and all. Failed to load. It created it quite recently, on another pc running hub 1.4.
EDIT: after some research, the problem in this case was a PEBCAK issue. No issue here anymore.
Hi,
We are aware of the delete project issue. It is also scheduled to be fixed in 1.6.0
As for when 1.6.0 is scheduled, The current estimation is in 2,3 weeks.
Sorry for the inconveniences.
Okay, this is very weird; it seems that Unity Hub has troubles updating to the new state of the projects list.
I launched the hub this morning before going to work; I let it open in the tray after starting a new project. I just came back from work, reopened the hub and the line mentioning the project I had deleted weeks ago just vanished under my eyes…
Just before reopening the hub, I was browsing the registry in search of a possible projects list stored there; I have found nothing yet.
Edit: I’d like to know what that list is stored, please.
