v 1.5.0 Failed to load the cloud projects

I’m getting this error message on every startup in 1.5.0.

I don’t really know why this happened - I tested collab way back in 2017, so there’s been two projects hanging around there since then. I went in and archived those, but the error is still showing up.

If I don’t have any cloud projects, maybe the Hub shouldn’t whine that it can’t load them?

same error message with 1.5.0 on two different systems under two completely separate accounts (work pro and home personal). never used any ‘cloud projects’ on either

Same. Just reported a bug. I’d recommend doing the same for anyone who encounters this.

It’s more an oversight than a bug; the devs probably do not think that people do not have projects on the cloud. I already mentioned this this morning alongside two other things: https://discussions.unity.com/t/731948 .

I have projects on my cloud but this message keeps showing every time I open Hub.

Yeah, same issue here. I have no cloud projects but it throws an error saying it failed to load them. Is this really an error if you think about it though? It failed to load cloud projects because I don’t have any, :stuck_out_tongue: haha. Hope they get it fixed soon.

This is entirely different then. Are they archived?

I’m facing the same problem, not archived. I got one project, set up with collab and all. Failed to load. It created it quite recently, on another pc running hub 1.4.

EDIT: after some research, the problem in this case was a PEBCAK issue. No issue here anymore.

Are you logged into your account when you start the Hub?

If yes, try this:

  • quit the Hub,

  • delete the UnityHub and Unity Hub folders that are in “C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming”,

  • restart the Hub.

No cloud projects. Have error.

Same issue here. Keeps showing the error even when switching tabs (Project/Learn/Installs) or when Hub is restored from system tray. Really annoying. :frowning:

Same with us.

Anyone else notice the Unity Hub is no longer removing deleted projects from its list with this latest release?

When is it due?

Yep, just happened to me. The deleted project is moved at the bottom of the list. @joeksy

Hi,
We are aware of the delete project issue. It is also scheduled to be fixed in 1.6.0
As for when 1.6.0 is scheduled, The current estimation is in 2,3 weeks.

Same Issue HERE!

Okay, this is very weird; it seems that Unity Hub has troubles updating to the new state of the projects list.

I launched the hub this morning before going to work; I let it open in the tray after starting a new project. I just came back from work, reopened the hub and the line mentioning the project I had deleted weeks ago just vanished under my eyes…

Just before reopening the hub, I was browsing the registry in search of a possible projects list stored there; I have found nothing yet.

Edit: I’d like to know what that list is stored, please.
