Valentinel Hopes is an abstract open world platformer for hardcore gamers, similar to Drypoint. Here are some development screenshots :slight_smile:

Added the R as restart and escape to quite the program.
I fixed up the level design of the first area a little too.

This game looks very interesting, I’m downloading Dry Point right now I will definitely play it tonight. The screenshots from Dry Point remind me of a “tower” from Persona 3 (playstation 2), where you enter the mind of a strange guy who is obsessed with videogames, everything in the level looks like an 8-bit game. But Valentinel Hopes looks like a cross between Mirrors Edge Dry Point. Seems like a good original concept. Although, the idea of making a casual game that is a “hardcore game in disguise” may be a little confusing for players expecting a casual gameplay experience.

Absolutely wonderful style, Ikaruga. Not just in this, but in all your creations in general. Next time i need a proof that games are art, ill link to your games.

Watching the screens first , it look very great!

You should find a guy with an iphone license and release one awesome title! :wink:

I played to the first release on the top.
control are a little bit hard, and difficult to play but the idea, concept, colors, design, etc… is in very good way.

You should add more fly sequence and then go back on the road with violence could add more pulsation to your game!

But yeah I like it!

PS : please add a checkpoint in your games… to start from the beginning every time… :evil:
