Vehicle Only Follows Terrain

I know, the title sounds strange, but it’s literally true. I have a small river that my vehicle cannot cross (banks are too steep so no Navmesh Surface is generated). I added a bridge mesh and now the Navmesh Surface will generate a path across the bridge, and the vehicle will cross, but it follows the contours of the river, not the bridge. The Navmesh Surface shows a path across the bridge, but the vehicle behaves like it’s not there. I’ve tried adding just a plane across the river, but the effect is the same. Does anyone know what I’m missing? Thanks.

@newjerseyrunner Thanks for the offer of help. I’ve moved on to a different solution (not particularly elegant) because I need to give a presentation next week. I’ll come back to the issue later in June. Thanks again.
