Vehicle scripts/wizard - need art help

We’re working on the native Wheel Collider support and the associated scripts/wizards to easily make really good vehicles. We’re planning to include a good demo of that in the next Unity release.

Here is the catch: I need some good artwork for the car and the racing track. Models, textures, normalmaps etc. - I’m sure there’s a ton of great artists out there. The artwork will be made freely available and will be bundled with Unity.

We got a car model from ATI.

With some shader fun it looks pretty cool: On The Edge - Det bedste fra tech verdenen At this moment it requires a video card that sports pixel shaders 2.0; won’t work on minimac or old macs (use mouse and up/down keys to look around.)

Now we need a cool artist to make a matching cool race-track model + textures.

Let me just say holy sh!t that looks amazing on my PowerMac with the pixel shaders. The reflection map adds a LOT. Beautiful.

one tiny suggestion- if you have the track outdoors, try making the reflection map based off of clouds instead of the indoor looking image you have. It will just look killer.

But, it looks better on windows (geforce 6600) than in a macbook pro (ati), in windows I get the interior elements and the unity logo on one side, but in mac, the unity logo doesn’t appear and the interior looks black. with holes

Wow thats awesome! No way I can see it in 3d on my eMac but the picture is great. I would help but I don’t think I have the art skill.
