Hi guys, I’ve started my new project, and I want to share with you some progress, after 4 days of work I have about 20 simple shaders, but I will show here only the best of them, artistic in some way. They probably will be making everything look worse, but sometimes less is more. Venustas means “beauty.”

So ok, let’s make something better than mask, maybe about 30 shaders with depth? Sounds good, but how about easy animation system? Hmm…

Looks good, by default curve is made by 3 keys, everyone created with 2 floats, x and y. You can’t animate curve, but animating floats is easy.

Iterations - these days only blur effects use them, why?
No idea.
Anyone want to scan some planet? Or anything else? Maybe with this easy to use scanner?

3D Effects without scanner? Nope.

Sometimes innovation is a really small thing, but does it matter when it’s good? For me brand new “Constant” effect is a really usable innovation. It’s 57th shader of this package, so for now there are many unknown shaders which could surprise you. Of course all of them work in 3D, and because of being animation-friendly we claim that Venustas effects are 4D effects, reason of this state is that for many scientists time is the 4th dimension.

Big changes. New functions. Maybe it will be finished until the end of April. Maybe not, it all depends on quality. To be one of the best package of fullscreen shaders, or to be forgotten.

If you are as tired of this ugly green curve as me, than you totally should be interested in this package. Little thing, big difference. For real, now it looks serious, like beautiful curve for perfectionists.
Now it’s time to document everything and publish the project! Here is the UI of NLUT image effect, it’s a modification of a normal LUT, of course with blend option.

Simple and practical interface

It’s been quite long since last update, but there are many new thing! Now every single effect intensity is controlled by RGB channels. With additional slider to move single channel sliders at once. Every effect also provides an option to adjust intensity by scene luminance.
And of course, package consider zones.
