Inspired by the ferocious battle of Verdun that took place in 1916, M2H and Blackmill are proud to present Verdun, a unique online first person shooter set during the First World War. Verdun delivers a dedicated World War 1 shooter experience for the first time.
We recently opened an open beta for the game so come and join the fun! The game will be released as a standalone but for easy testing purposes we created a webplayer version.
You know what would be cool in such a trench-warfare-style game?
Random bullets and explosions flying across the battlefield. It was a major factor about what made the war drag on for so long after all. The fact that you could not stick your head out or it would get shot off.
That would reduce the bunny hopping game-play of other FPS games (as even shown in the video.)
