Verifying a collision in time and disabling following collisions

Hello people of the forum, I am new using Unity and got into a problem , hope U guys can help me out

I am creating a diving game , and i want to check if the character (game object with a rigidbody) , hits the pool well or not, i have attached 2 box colliders to the character , so when the character hits the pool (a plane) I could check which collider hits first using the function OnTriggerEnter.

My question is how can I check which one hits first and disable the other colliders ? Any suggestion , method or approach to this will be appreciated .

Put references to your manager (Whatever script is making the decision on whether it was a good hit) - on both collider scripts (You’ll need a small script to catch the event for each collider). Have the collider scritps run a method (or set a flag or something) on the manager and do your business logic.
