Version 2.5 (indie) for Windows, watermark in web player?

For the new indie version 2.5 which runs on windows, will unity be changing the mandatory watermark in the web player out for a splash screen at the beginning/load of the player?

It would be a lot less intrusive in the gameplay experience. I think an opening splash screen would be very welcome as an alternative to the watermark in indie. I have no problem with people knowing I use unity engine when making my games, but I don’t think it needs to be in every frame rendered of the final product.

Most other game engines (C4, Torque, etc) do have the requirement for a splash screen at the beginning in their indie/standard license, most do not require a watermark rendered on every frame. I think it would be fine to have the watermark requirement in the “30-day trial” for windows though, since it’s not supposed to be used for commercial use.

Even if it’s not decided yet, please consider this as a feature request. Our indie games would look so much better, and I think you would sell more copies of your game engine software to indies.

Thanks
