Vertex Snapping doesn't work consistently.

Is anyone else having inconsistent snapping with Unity geometry?

Had this in 3d as well, sometimes it works good sometimes it takes multiple attempts to get it to snap accurately.

I think I found out the reason in my case. If a child is trying to snap to the parent of ANOTHER game object, the snapping gets offset. I’ll try to put together a project for you guys to see.
