Vertical Mesh Blending with terrain help

Hi there everyone,

I am new here and I have a big problem. I don`t know how I can make my mesh (the outcrop in the image- the grey with texctures mesh that is siting on the green terrain) blen with the terrain. As you can see the mesh has it’s back empty and the terrain should be raised and fit to it’s back. (the mesh is made using photos on the field).

In the inspector you have Terrain object. When you click it, first option is Raise / Lower terrain. Would this help?
