Very Big Problem with Editor

This is an error that has already happened to me 3 times and I have lost hundreds of hours of work. This time, it happened when I accidentally sending in a certain project to Wooglie through their API. When I cancelled, Unity crashed and when I loaded up, I get this very annoying error that says “UnityEditor.DockArea.OnGUI()” and I can’t open up any scenes. When I select certain objects in my project folder, hundreds of files select them selves. I get the same error when I try moving anything. I can’t even play my game. This was a finished product that I spent hundreds of hours on. There has to be a way to fix this. I’ve tried loading it up on countless Unity Versions throughout the 3 times I encountered this issue. Could anyone who has had this problem or knows how to fix it help me? I would really want to solve this issue.

Thank you!

I have found the fix! If anyone else ever has this problem, this is how you fix it.

Go to your project folder outside of the Unity Software. Go to your Library and then delete the file called “asstDatabase3.” Then load the project back up. It will re-import the assets but with a new data base and fix any glitches including this editor glitch.
