In Unity 2022.1.17, the video player was able to play streaming videos on iOS and MacOS for signed URLs. In the latest version of the Unity 2022 LTS, it gives an error (below). It also gives the same error in Unity 2023. This is breaking behavior that prevents us from using an LTS release. This appears to be the same issue as an older discussion (Video Player not playing from URL in newer Unity versions.), but there’s no resolution posted on that one.
On iOS we see this error:
