Video questions

Hi,

A client wants an app with the following:

  1. must be able to capture video from the camera, video save it.
  2. must be able to play back video from camera roll or captured video
  3. must be able to overlay models from unity or particles

Can it be done easily? which plugins do you recommend?

check out Prime 31 Camera and Video Texture plugin under core iOS features. it will at least get you using the camera feed and models and particle fx in at the same time

Thanks man.

I mailed prime and he says it is playback from app dir only. He says I have to somehow copy that movie to the app directory. Is that possible?

I also need to start recording some footage within unity, guessing that will be a minor plugin job.

And uh… sound?
