I am quite new to Unity, I would like to know if I could record a piece of animation (maybe sprites animation) and output it as a maybe .mp4 format video file on Android devices?
Is there any plugin for unity I could use ( paid plugin is OK) for ease?
Thanks.

== detail information ==
I will manipulate the sprite to create a piece of animation or render a series of frame pictures of animation in Unity on Android device, then, would like to output or combine the series of frames into a video file for sharing purpose. All these have to be done on Android device.

Not sure what you’re asking for. Do you mean something to display animations on your android device in real time? Or record animations? There are a lot of software suites that will allow you to create all kinds of animations, and you can then move it to your phone as per normal.

Maybe if you explained what exactly you’re doing?

Just edit my question again. Hope I explained my question clear enough this time. Thanks for your answering.

So, to be clear, you’re using an android device to produce the sprite/animation via unity, then share the result with other users? That’s not really how unity is designed to work, it generally goes the other way. You could write code to do it though, but you would have to do a lot of scripting, depending on how you want the animations to be made. If people are just choosing between a series of sprites to make an animation, it would be pretty easy. Otherwise, they have to load the files onto their phone and you would need to write a script to import them as well.

I’m not aware of anything that currently exists for Unity that does this, but you could just as easily use Eclipse and just write the app manually.
