Yes, I searched and read about many proposed fixes…anyways…wanted to see about any updates…
My scene has just (basically) 3 thing, the movie screen (a plane), and the floor (a plane), and the camera.
That’s basically it, when I run a build on Android, there is a mild but noticeable choppyness/stuttering to the mp4 video. It is not severe, but on the other hand would you watch a video with this issue? No.
(the audio comes out fine)
On iOS(iPad) the video plays fine, and the audio plays fine.
Now here is something I didn’t see brought up, when I added PostProcessing Effects, and run on Android (with only maybe 2 or 3 effects enabled), the video choppyness/stuttering is severe, and video playing is horrible. On iOS, I did the same, and the video played fine and audio played fine, when I went back and enabled every effect, then there was some choppiness to the video playback on iOS.
The funny thing, is for android, I disabled all effects and did a build + run, and still had the horrible video stuttering. I went and removed the Processing Effects folder, did an Android build + run and still had the horrible video stuttering! I went and re-created project and did Android build and the video playing was normal (still had slight stuttering, but not severe like when I included Post Processing Effects), audio was normal.
For iOS, when I disable Post Processing effect, the video playing was optimal, and normal, as well as the audio.
