Virtual world only visible through a plan in Augmented Reality

Hi,

I’m developing an Augmented Reality (AR) app on iOS with Unity and Qualcomm.
I would like to create a virtual world only visible through a plan (or a hole) like in these apps:

Do you have an idea how to do it?

If other people have the same question, this effect can be done with a clipping plan with the material called “DepthMask” (available in Qualcomm Assets).
