Visual Studio 2012 Code Suggestions.

I’ve just spent a while getting Visual Studio 2012 to work with Unity but I’ve ran into more problems. So far Unity will open up my scripts in Visual Studio as I expect but it doesn’t have code suggestions working which is very inconvenient. Are there any plugins or methods to make this possible?

Are you using Visual C# Express instead of Visual Studio (Pro+)? I am not entirely sure, but I don't think Express works. Anyway, it can be a bit wonky to get Visual Studio to work properly too. I have to live with ugly workarounds (like opening the generated project with Visual Studio [like described here][1]). You’ll be wanting to look into UnityVS, I’m not sure it works for express editions if that’s what you have. But it defines its own Unity target profiles that enable valid code suggestions depending on whether your using the Unity full or subset implementations of .NET.

If you are using C# you shouldn’t have a problem.
JavaScript support in VS is OK.
Boo in VS? Forget about it.

Try installing and running it with Root Privileges.
