Visual Studio 2015 Tools for Unity not working

Hi there, I have upgraded to the latest version of Unity, and Visual Studio Tools for Unity stopped working.

I downloaded the latest version, removed the old UnityVS folder, imported the new package, and nothing appears in the menus.

In the Visual Studio 2013 version of the tools, at this point it placed a new menu onto the menubar, and you could access your debugging tools from there.

Getting kinda thirsty for the debugger… anyone got any clues what to try next?

According to this page, there is no more menu.

They also say that going to the Help Menu → About Unity should show “Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Unity 2.1.0.0 enabled” but I don’t see that either.

only option now is the “Open C# project” under “Assets” and of course the option in preferences…

other things need to be set in visual studio.

however, if you are running Visual Studio 2013… you should install the VSTU 2013 (not 2015)… I think that is at the same version level (2.1.0.0)

however… i’ld just wipe visual studio 2013, and move on up to 2015 community version (same as professional)

Ok, thanks guys!
