Visual studio and the editor

With Monodevelop double clicking a error in unity would auto open the script and also take you to the line and the error itself but this doesn’t happen when I do the same with VS?Is there a setting I need to turn on?

Hello?Is this just how vs is ?nothing to be done to get it to run like monodevelop?In addition when i try open up shaders in the editor it doesn’t open in vs I have to find the file in the windows folder and assign vs as the default to open the code which like the original question is time consuming.
