Please Unity, can you replace MonoDevelop with this one?
Meanwhile, I’m so interested on integrating it with Unity. Let’s share tips in this thread.

From what I read, Code doesn’t have all the features of MonoDevelop (like, you can’t create assemblies from it). I mean, it wouldn’t have all the features of MonoDevelop, if MonoDevelop actually worked
Did you try it out? I’m curious too.
No, but I’m checking it out.
I can live without assemblies in Code, I just want a sane C# editor with autocomplete and without ugly bugs like broken indentation.
UPD: ouch, no autocomplete yet. I was sure it autocompletes .NET stuff.
Syntax highlighting and in-the-file rename works though.
UPD2: wait, “Visual Studio Code includes built-in support for always-on IntelliSense code completion, richer semantic code understanding and navigation, and code refactoring. In the Preview, Code includes enriched built-in support for ASP.NET 5 development with C#, and Node.js development with TypeScript and JavaScript, powered by the same underlying technologies that drive Visual Studio.”

UPD3: press ctrl+space on Mac to get IntelliSense popover. It works only inside one file for me.

I dont think its there yet, because im not sure it can be used as debugger yet, but since Unity3D announced the partnership with MS its quite possible something big like this is coming
I actually thought for some time that MD debugger is not working and just logged stuff.
