Visual Studio Express limitation?

Hi,

I was wondering whether the fact that you couldn’t use visual studio express as an editor (open it when you double click a file in unity) was a technical limitation (not possible) or a legal/license limitation (not allowed), because I have seen apps achieve this with the express editions of visual studio…

I have no problem using Visual C# Express. In the Unity GUI is a menu “Sync VS” (or similar - i am at the moment on an other PC).

The problem is that when you try to select it as your editor, it tells you about a limitation of the express edition.

Anyway, I found a small workaround to this issue and posted it here :

I hope that nothing is ‘bad’ about it, though there is no reason for anything to be.
