Vivox Developer Help Center is moving to Unity Forums???

I noticed in the Vivox Developer Portal Vivox is moving their help center/forums to Unity forums and was wondering what happens to the C++ users that use Unreal, will they have there own forum on Unreal forums(even though Unity owns Vivox). It’s just confusing that the Vivox Developer Portal directs people to Unity forums even if they my use a different game engine that my use a different language

While I’m not in the loop with this, I would say there is no harm in having a central forum location for this stuff. There’s even a DCC forum here, so there’s no issue as far as I’m concerned. It might even improve response times if staff that are knowledgeable are seeing posts in the same area.

Most of the more knowledgeable posters around here are fluent in C++ as well as Unreal Engine.

Hey Murphy,

To clarify, Vivox developers using any platform or language are more than welcome to post here and get help. To hippocoders point, while C# is the language in the majority of posts there are plenty of other languages talked about here including C++. Additionally, since these forums are public (as opposed to help center being behind the developer portal), the results should be indexed by search engines which should make it a lot easier for users searching for solutions.

Thank you for clarifying both @hippocoder and @BrandonUnity3D and for the fast response!!! This makes a lot of sense, especially the Indexing part of search engines, since it’s a public forum not behind a login session. I’m definitely glad Unity is finally taking over(no hard feelings for the original Vivox Team), it’s been over a year since ya’ll acquired Vivox. Glad to see some native integration. Thanks and God bless ya’ll !!!
