Vostopia: How do I use it?

So I recently got Vostopia and I was wonder how do I get the avatars on my terrain? I got the part for people to login but now I was wondering how do I get my avatar to walk on my terrain? Do I have to create a new scene to make them walk on the terrain because I have done that and put it on the same scene but none work.

Please help.

In the vostopia avatar system package there is an example using CharacterController to have the avatars walking around, have a look in /Assets/vostopia/examples/walk.
